Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise partner, seeks a part-time Cleaner to help transform members' experiences by keeping clubs clean, sanitized, and safe. This role supports a vibrant, health-focused environment and offers promotions from within, with clear pay increases based on tenure.

As a member of our team, you’ll perform daily cleaning tasks, ensure high standards of hygiene, and contribute to a welcoming, safe space for over a million members nationwide.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Physical ability to handle lifting up to 75 lbs and long periods of standing.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment and gym floor daily.
• Clean locker rooms, restrooms, showers, and locker area.
• Properly dispose of trash and stock supplies.
• Report broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.

This includes:cleaning and sanitizing fitness equipment and gym floorcleaning and sanitizing the locker rooms, restroom facilities, shower facilities and locker areaproperly dispose of trash stock all supplies around club and in locker roomsreport broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club ManagerJob Requirements:Successful prior custodial experienced preferredHigh School diploma/GED preferredMust be 18 years of age or olderPhysical Demands:Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pullingMust be able to lift up to 75 lbs.Continual standing and walking during shiftFrequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shiftContinual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shiftWill encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
