Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a part-time Cleaner to help transform the club experience by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members. The role offers growth opportunities and competitive, step-based pay progression beginning at $12 per hour, with raises at 180 days, one year, and every six months thereafter.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment and floors, sanitizing locker rooms and restrooms, disposing of trash, stocking supplies, and reporting any issues to the Club

Qualifications

• Successful prior custodial experienced preferred.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Physical Demands: Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; lift up to 75 lbs; continual standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize fitness equipment and gym floor.
• Sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, showers and locker areas.
• Properly dispose of trash and stock supplies around club and in locker rooms.
• Report broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
