Heart Hospital of Austin is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist PT to join our team. Administer respiratory care per physician orders and evaluate therapy through diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, adjusting therapy as needed, documenting thoroughly, and communicating with physicians and nurses to ensure high-quality care. The role emphasizes patient safety and collaboration in a fast-paced cardiovascular setting.

Competenze

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NBRC-CRT certification as Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT/RCP-State licensure required.
• Associate degree required.

• Assess patients appropriately, interpret results accurately, and suggest alternative treatment.
• Able to change modes of therapy as needed and prioritize tasks.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients and co-workers; document by exception.
