Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this job is to scan and/or enter numbers on register, lift and move goods, make change, bag orders, and assist with restocking, cleaning, and other tasks as directed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at shift start.
• Block aisles, set up checkout areas, and displays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Tally items, handle money, and give change.
• Bag items and place bags into carts when necessary.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Learn to use equipment and tools required for the job.
• Complete the company probationary period of 30 or 60 days.
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Meet company performance standards, including attendance.
• Wear proper attire approved for the job.
• Have technical training relevant to the role.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more.
• Job involves continual movement.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, walk 45% of the time.
• Maximum pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals and handbooks.
