Primary Purpose

The primary responsibilities include scanning and/or entering numbers on register, lifting and moving goods, making change, bagging orders, restocking, replenishing front-end items (candy, gift cards, snacks), cleaning, and assisting with carts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at shift start.
• Set up aisles, checkout areas, and displays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Count items, handle transactions, and give change.
• Bag items and place bags into carts when necessary.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate required equipment and tools.
• Complete the company's introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Perform all job functions safely and meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes approved for the role.
• Possess technical training specific to the role.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, depending on business needs.
• Continuous work cycle.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, walk 45%, sit 0%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
