Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this job is to scan and/or enter numbers on register, lift and move goods, make change, bag orders, and handle special projects including restock returns, replenishment of front-end items, cleaning, and assisting with carts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at shift start.
• Set up aisles, checkout areas, and displays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Count items, handle money, and give change.
• Bag items and place bags into carts as necessary.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to learn to use job-related equipment and tools.
• Complete the company's introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Perform all job functions safely and meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes approved for the job.
• Possess technical training relevant to the role.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more.
• Job cycle: continual maximum.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals and handbooks.
