Job summary

Qualifications

• Post-high-school specialized training is required.
• Successful completion of a Patient Care Technician (PCT) training program is required.
• Patient Care Technician certification OR Nursing Assistant certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Under the direction of the Unit Director and direct supervision of the Charge RN and/or Staff RN/LPN, the Patient Care Technician facilitates patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, helping provide a clean, comfortable and safe care environment, and performing delegated technical procedures.
