Job summary

UF Health Leesburg is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the CDU team. You will work under RN/LPN supervision to assist with activities of daily living, support patient comfort, and help with delegated technical procedures.

The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with a focus on direct patient care and maintaining a safe, clean environment. English proficiency and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Post-high-school specialized training required.
• Successful completion of a Patient Care Technician (PCT) training program required.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Unit Director and direct supervision of the Charge RN and/or Staff RN/LPN, the Patient Care Technician facilitates patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, helping provide a clean, comfortable and safe care environment, and performing delegated technical procedures.
