Job summary

Vermont State University, Randolph Campus, invites applications for a Part-Time teaching position for Spring 2027 (January 19 – May 14, 2027) in the Architectural Engineering Technology program. The course ARE 4720 – ARE Senior Project involves weekly studio and lecture sessions and is co-taught with a full-time instructor from the AET program.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering or related field, demonstrate HVAC/energy systems

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Content expertise in building environmental (HVAC) and energy systems.
• College-level teaching experience preferred; professional building design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach ARE 4720 – ARE Senior Project: 1 hour lecture and 3 hours studio per week.
• Co‑teach with a full‑time instructor from the AET program.
• Guide students through capstone projects including design, evaluation and presentations.
