Brightpoint Community College in Virginia is seeking a part-time Architectural Engineering Technology Adjunct to teach day and/or evening courses in materials and methods of construction, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, Revit Architecture, and Revit MEP.
The adjunct will support the Division of Engineering, Business, and Public Services through classroom and laboratory instruction, with limits per Virginia’s Community Colleges guidelines, and by applying instructional technologies.

Adjunct faculty teaching is limited to a maximum of 8 credit hours in the summer semester, 12 credit hours in the fall semester, and 12 credit hours in the spring semester. These limits are for total number of credit hours taught in the Virginia’s Community Colleges (VCCS). Additional restrictions may apply depending upon other positions occupied within VCCS.
We currently seek several part‑time faculty members to teach day and/or evening courses in the areas of materials and methods of construction, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, Revit Architecture, and Revit MEP.
The Division of Engineering, Business, and Public Services at Brightpoint Community College augments full-time teaching faculty with qualified part-time instructors to enhance the student learning process. Teach all aspects of properties of construction materials and related testing procedures for technicians. Teach all aspects of CAD software as applied to residential and commercial buildings. Both broad content areas involve classroom and laboratory instruction.
