Albion College invites applications for the part-time Campus Safety Officer/Dispatcher. This position is part of the Albion College Student Development staff and reports to the Assistant Director for Campus Safety. The role involves performing security and service functions to promote safety and lawful behavior on campus, supporting a residential community aligned with the college’s mission and goals.
The officer/dispatcher provides assistance to campus members, communicates effectively, handles emergencies, maintains confidentiality, and promotes diversity and inclusion among students, faculty, and staff, including underrepresented groups.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (associate’s in criminal justice or law enforcement preferred), relevant experience, certification in First Aid and CPR/AED (preferred), and being at least 18 years old.
