Duties And Responsibilities

1. Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Mix, color, load, frost, and decorate cakes with frosting.
3. Take, complete, and store orders in the bakery cooler.
4. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
5. Track and record loss.
6. Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation work habits.

Qualifications

1. Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
2. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to perform job duties and follow safety regulations.
3. Complete a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
4. Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
5. Willing to wear proper clothing and shoes approved for the role.
6. Preferred: 1 year of work experience or technical training.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, depending on business needs.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55%, walk for 45% of the shift.
• Category IV physical demands: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Maximum pull static: 20 lbs.
