Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Mix, color, load, frost, and decorate cakes with frosting.
3. Take, complete, and store bakery orders properly.
4. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
5. Track and record loss.
6. Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to perform job duties and comply with policies and safety regulations.
• Completion of a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
• Ability to use or learn to use relevant equipment and tools safely.
• Willingness to wear proper uniform and shoes.
• Preferred: 1 year of work experience or technical training.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: Minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Physical demands include lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., standing for 55%, walking for 45%.
• Category IV physical requirements: lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
