Primary Purpose

Deliver quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department, maintaining standards according to company practices, maximizing sales through excellent service, and minimizing waste.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic, fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Assist and be courteous to colleagues.
• Understand ingredients, mixes, and icings, and coordinate colors for decoration.
• Follow production standards, processing, labeling, and safety protocols.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage ordering, receiving, preparation, and display of merchandise according to policies.
• Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and safety standards, including food safety and workplace safety.
• Wear the designated uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
• Utilize company tools such as ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering.
• Complete required training courses and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet age requirements and physical demands of the role, with or without accommodations.

Physical Requirements

• Operate computers and communication systems.
• Perform repetitive motions, lift up to 50 lbs., and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Stand continuously, walk short distances, and handle cleaning and packaging substances.
• Reach at various levels and tolerate working in extreme temperatures.
