Job Summary

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! Have fun in the sun while pursuing an exciting career in the casino industry. Work with an awesome team while ensuring a good time for our guests. This is a part time, year around position with an excellent compensation package. This includes paid sick time, paid vacation time and 401k options. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
• Responsible for accurate exchange of currency and coin.
• Complies with Currency Transaction Reporting Procedures and Guidelines.
• Responsible to accurately redeem tickets and tokens for currency and coins.
• Responsible to accurately disburse payment of jackpot payouts.
• Responsible to work all front line window locations, including maintaining self-redemption booths.
• Counts and verifies all cash turn-ins to the Main Bank Cashiers.
• Responsible for safeguarding of currency, coin, tickets, tokens, forms and records relating to slot cashier functions.
• Complies with State Lottery Regulations and Company Internal Controls.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
  
  

Required Skills And Abilities

• Previous money handling experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
  
  

Education And Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift forty (40) lbs. without difficulty, repeatedly.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
