Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to program and logs as well as produce talk shows, sporting events, and on-site broadcasts
• Collaborate on story ideas and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be detail oriented and calm under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Collaborate with newsroom staff
• Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
• Participate in and create original content for social platforms; manage online personality presence
• Be willing to work holidays, nights, overnights, and/or weekends
• Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations
• Other duties as required by management

You’ll be working with an experienced Major Market management team as well as an outstanding support staff.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated starting salary range for Richmond-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $15.00/Hr. - $18.00/Hr..

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
