Job summary

Manor Vail Lodge is seeking a Part Time Seasonal Bartender to serve cocktails and beverages during lunch, après, and dinner shifts. The role includes taking orders, mixing drinks, and handling payments while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Shifts run 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM seven days a week with gratuities; the property offers sick leave, parking, and holiday pay as part of benefits. Training and TIPS certification support are provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance instructions.
• Experience in customer-facing beverage service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers or servers.
• Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and drinks.
• Serves wine, beer, and other beverages.
• Collects payment via cash or card for drinks served.
• Maintains clean and organized bar area and displays.

Overview

The Bartender mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar/restaurant. Able to work lunch, après, and dinner shifts.

Looking for a Part Time Seasonal Bartender with potential to pick up more shifts.

Shifts range from 11AM-10PM and the Fitz is open 7 days per week. Ridge + River is open for pre-concert and special events for the summer. R+R open for dinner in the winter. Earns $12.76/hr plus gratuities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Takes orders from customers or Servers.
• Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Serves wine and draught or bottled beer.
• Collects money or credit cards for drinks served.
• Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
• Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display.
• Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of F&B Point of Sales Systems.
