Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat personal appearance and adhere to grooming standards.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Support training of associates when certified.
• Communicate effectively within the department and organization.
• Maintain productivity following management guidelines.
• Ensure safety standards are met; report equipment issues; keep work area safe and clean.
• Treat all colleagues with respect and fairness.
• Develop product knowledge across bakery items.
• Adhere to sanitation and food safety standards.
• Prepare, proof, and bake bakery products as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and learn multiple tasks.
• Must meet age requirements for specific tasks.

Physical Requirements:

• Repetitive hand and arm motions; standing/walking during shift.
• Lifting up to 30 lbs. regularly, up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Occasional overhead reaching with lighter weights.
• Ability to work in hot/cold environments briefly.
• Use of hands for controls, tools, and product handling.
• Handling cleaning and food substances safely.

Preferred Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and assistance skills.
• Product packaging, display, and organization.
• Replenishing stock and preparing products.
• Proper merchandise processing and record-keeping.
• Equipment cleaning and cake decorating skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements with accommodations if needed.

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65 hourly.
