DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat appearance and comply with personal appearance policies.
• Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Train other associates when certified.
• Maintain communication within the department and organization.
• Adhere to management planning guidelines to ensure productivity.
• Support safety standards, report equipment issues, and keep work areas safe.
• Treat co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect.
• Develop product knowledge in bakery items.
• Follow sanitation and food safety standards.
• Prepare, proof, and bake bakery products as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Physical Requirements

• Perform repetitive hand and arm motions while standing or walking.
• Lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently and 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Reaching to shoulder or overhead while lifting.
• Work in hot/cold temperatures for periods.
• Operate controls and handle objects and tools.
• Handle substances related to cleaning, packaging, and food products.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Provide friendly customer service and assist with product selection.
• Package and display products per standards and customer needs.
• Organize bakery loads and replenish merchandise.
• Prepare products, set up displays, and maintain records.
• Sanitize equipment and, if qualified, frost, ice, and decorate cakes.
• Meet physical requirements of the role with or without accommodations.

Salary range: $15.50 - $20.15 hourly.
