DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat personal appearance in accordance with policies.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Help train and certify other associates.
• Communicate effectively within the department and organization.
• Support management planning to maintain productivity.
• Adhere to safety standards; report equipment issues; keep work area safe and clean.
• Treat colleagues with fairness and respect.
• Develop product knowledge in bakery items such as rolls, desserts, cakes, muffins, bagels, coffees, and platters.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Prepare, proof, and bake bakery products as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive hand and arm motions; standing/walking for most of the shift.
• Lift up to 30 lbs. regularly, up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Reach overhead or shoulder level; handle various substances and operate controls.
• Work in extreme temperatures for brief periods.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Provide excellent customer service and assist with product selection.
• Package and display products per standards and customer needs.
• Organize bakery loads and replenish merchandise.
• Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and sales.
• Sanitize equipment regularly.
• Frost, ice, or decorate cakes as needed; personalize when required.
• Meet physical demands of the role, with accommodations if necessary.

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65 per hour.
