Job summary

Hope House Foundation is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Direct Support Professional to join our Riverside Norfolk VA team near I-264 and Military Highway. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities, provide overnight supervision in an awake role, and help residents achieve daily living goals while enjoying a flexible schedule.

The position offers a $500 sign-on bonus, paid certifications, and progress opportunities through our advancement programs, with competitive hourly pay

Salary Range: $17.36 - $23.36 Hourly

Requirements

• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation
• Satisfactory Criminal Background Check

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to assist individuals with completing activities of daily living.
• Experience through education or work history that demonstrates reliability/dependability.
• Skill to complete satisfactorily: Medication Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, First Aid/CPR, Mandt, and other requirements associated with orientation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment.
• Skill in locating and accessing community resources.
