Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers – Bensalem is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to work closely with Physical Therapists to execute individualized care plans aimed at helping patients reach meaningful functional goals.

You will engage with a diverse caseload, including orthopedic, post-surgical, balance, vestibular, and neurological patients, while contributing to a positive and collaborative clinic culture and delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current Pennsylvania PTA license or eligibility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and neurological rehabilitation.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Carry out individualized plans of care established by the evaluating Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance training, functional activities.
• Work with a diverse patient population including orthopedic, post-surgical, balance, vestibular, and neurological patients.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients on exercises, home programs, safety, and strategies to improve functional independence.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional treatment environment.
• Build positive relationships with patients and contribute to an exceptional patient experience.
• Collaborate with therapists and other team members to maintain a supportive clinic environment.
• Participate in professional development and clinic growth opportunities.
