Job summary

Phoenix Physical Therapy, Inc seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support therapists, prepare patients and equipment for treatment, and assist in selected procedures.

Based in Millbrook, AL, the PTA will maintain patient schedules, communicate progress to the care team, and help ensure safety and comfort during therapy sessions.

Requirements include an associate degree or PTA program completion, CPR certification, and a minimum of two years’ experience in a rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in physical therapy or PTA program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PT facility, nursing home or rehab setting preferred.
• Current CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a patient treatment schedule
• Confer with care team and inform them of patient needs or progress
• Aid in patient care and safety
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments as requested
• Assist PT in selected procedures and monitor patient during treatment
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain facility cleanliness
• Attend facility meetings as required
• Other duties as assigned
