Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities in Alamogordo, NM.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Assesses and documents patient progress and communicates with supervising therapist to adjust treatments.
• Provides counseling to patients and families related to physical disorders.
• Contributes to discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical requirements.
