Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Granite City, IL is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will participate in implementing individualized plans of care and help patients improve functional outcomes.

You will assist with all phases of physical therapy, document patient progress, and communicate with therapists, rehab directors, and facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
