Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-facility rehab team. You will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments to help patients regain movement and independence.

You will collaborate with therapists and nurses, communicate with families, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Powerback supports growth, mentorship for new grads, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with peers, be a healer and helper, and reference other care when needed to help patients thrive.
• Provide patient-centered care in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You're a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but you're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.
