Ivy Tech Community College seeks a proctoring coordinator to manage on-campus and online exam administration with a focus on inclusivity and accuracy. The role supports the Testing Services Manager and ensures compliance with testing protocols.
Applicants should be able to travel to sites, obtain a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate strong customer service and confidentiality skills. Associates degree preferred and health benefits available.
We are looking for candidates who have the desire and ability to create a welcoming work environment that positively engages and impacts our diverse workforce and student population. Under supervision, this position coordinates and oversees day-to-day administration and proctoring a range of certification and academic exams both on campus and virtually. Provide appropriate proctoring services for both Ivy Tech students and non-Ivy Tech candidates according to required protocols and guidelines. The position will work closely with the Testing Services Manager to maintain currency (certified proctor) in skills and procedures.
Position requires sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of the College students and employees.
Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.
$15.00/hour
Associates Degree preferred
Must be able to travel to sites to administer tests, therefore must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, and be insurable under the college authorized driver criteria.

Must exhibit excellent interpersonal communication, telephone, confidentiality, and customer service skills.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
Excellent word processing and spreadsheet computing skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace are required.
Requires the ability to interpret and understand complex assessment instructions, to use problem solving techniques as they arise and to reason to make decisions.
