Job summary

Cherry Street Gallery, a small high-end art venue in Black Mountain, is seeking a personable and professional team member to join our gallery staff. The right candidate enjoys talking with visitors and sharing enthusiasm about artwork.

No extensive artist knowledge is required—we can teach you, and an art background or prior gallery experience is a plus. This is a part-time role, roughly 3–4 days per week, with a focus on client service and professionalism.

Cherry Street Gallery, a high-end, fine art gallery in Black Mountain, showcasing the work of nationally recognized artists, is seeking a personable and professional individual to join our gallery team.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and is comfortable engaging visitors in conversations about art.

Extensive knowledge of our artists is not required-we can teach you that-but an interest in art and the ability to speak confidently and enthusiastically about artwork is important. An art background or previous gallery experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate is:
