City of Montrose is seeking an Animal Shelter Attendant to provide daily care for stray and relinquished animals under supervision. You will assist the public with questions, support adoptions, process intakes and keep shelter information up to date in AnimalShelterNet.
You will educate the community on animal welfare, perform health checks, administer vaccines, assist with humane euthanasia when needed, and manage volunteers.
Under direct supervision, provides care for stray, abandoned and relinquished animals, serving the public in regard to animal shelter services. Performs data entry. Oversees volunteers, juvenile diversion workers, and community service workers.
