Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Patient Transport Associate to support patient movement and equipment handling within our Exeter facility. You will assist clinical staff with safe patient transfers and ensure timely transport of supplies and requisitions.

The role requires a High School Diploma and BCLS certification within 6 months of hire. This is a fulltime, on-site position with competitive hourly pay and a focus on patient care and safety.

• BCLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and equipment to and from departments within the hospital as requested/assigned.
• Assists clinical personnel in transferring patients between beds, chairs, wheelchairs, and stretchers.
• Picks up and delivers supplies and requisitions as requested.
• Performs transport equipment rounding, cleaning, disinfection, and relocation to storage areas.
• Transports broken and tagged equipment for repair or vendor notification.
