Job summary

UPS in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a supervisor for ramp operations. The role trains and oversees ramp agents and clerks, ensuring safe and timely completion of all duties. The position requires leadership of the team during evening shifts from Sunday to Thursday, in a Permanent employment setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing work and maintaining adherence to procedures while coordinating with teammates to uphold UPS safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Trains and supervises daily activities of ramp agents and clerks to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Position will be Sunday–Thursday evenings.

Job Description

This position trains and supervises daily activities of ramp agents and clerks to ensure that all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely. He/She unlaods and loads different aircraft following all methods and procedures. He/She directs the work of other employees effectively. The position will be Sunday - Thursday evenings.

Basic Qualifications

Pay Range

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $26.25/hr to $42.65/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
