What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the monthly billing process for wholesale and marketplace, including issuing invoices and posting payments and credit memos
- Review and interpret contracts to ensure billing terms and schedules align with system data
- Respond to internal and external accounts receivable inquiries
- Collaborate with warehouse and internal teams to investigate and resolve chargebacks, vendor compliance violations, and returns
- Support accounts receivable collections by tracking payments, following up on aged receivables, and informing reserve calculations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or billing processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the retail or apparel industry
- Familiarity with contract interpretation and billing compliance
- Knowledge of chargeback processes and vendor compliance issues
