Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Oro Valley, Arizona. The role requires holding an active PT license in the state, EMR proficiency, and ability to manage patient care and documentation.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, supervising support staff, and coordinating with physicians. The position includes benefits and is paid hourly at $46–$49. Potential extension after the contract term.

Qualifications

• Active PT license in the state of practice.
• Current PT certifications and ability to maintain them.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Familiar with DX and ICD-10 coding for billing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patient transfer.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
• Utilize EMR to complete evaluations, reports and discharge summaries.
• Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up.
• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care.
• Communicate with physicians and other personnel to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA and privacy policies.
