Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a PSYOP Planner to support CCMD staff in the Joint Planning Process. Leverage PSYOP capabilities and online information operations to gain an information advantage.

Responsible for developing PSYOP plans, coordinating messaging, and leading analyst teams as needed. The position requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance eligibility, 10+ years of related experience, and completion of PSYOP qualification courses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Requires 10+ years of related experience, including PSYOP planning at brigade level or higher.
• Security clearance TS/SCI eligibility required.
• Completion of PSYOP qualification, Joint IO Planning, or IO Integration courses required.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated PSYOP and supporting activities into CCPs, contingency plans, crisis plans, theater campaign orders, and ongoing operations.
• Assist other joint planners in incorporating their understanding of information's impact on the operational information environment to leverage PSYOP.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of the operational environment to identify key target audiences and assess beliefs, values, and motivations.
• Collaborate with analysts to develop persuasive, culturally appropriate messaging aligned with strategic objectives.
• Develop detailed PSYOP campaign plans with timelines, taskings, and measures of effectiveness.
• Collaborate with CCMDs, intelligence analysts, and operational units to synchronize messaging and actions across platforms.
• Develop and execute digital communication strategies to influence target audiences online, coordinating with adjacent staff sections for consistency.
• May lead one or more analyst teams and oversee day-to-day tasking.

Job Description

As a PSYOP Planner, you will be a key differentiator. Our work depends on a PSYOP Planner joining our team to support CCMD staff that participates in the Joint Planning Process (JPP). You will use your subject matter expertise with PSYOP capabilities and experience with Internet-Based PSYOP to advise operators on methods of leveraging informational power to gain and maintain an information advantage.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; significant specialized experience may be substituted in lieu. Experience: Requires 10+ years of related experience, including experience in the development of PSYOP plans and programs at the brigade level or higher. Security clearance level: TS/SCI eligibility required. Skills and abilities: Completion of PSYOP qualification, Joint IO Planning, or IO Integration courses required. Deep understanding of online communication platforms, expertise in digital marketing, strong analytical and communication skills, knowledge of foreign cultures, and awareness of legal and ethical considerations for online information operations.

Location: Customer Site (Tampa, FL).

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250.

Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
