Psychotherapist LMSW/LCSW in Private Practice

Upsider Therapy, LCSW, PLLC is looking to hire a part-time Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) to provide Individual Therapy Sessions, both virtual and in-person work at our Murray Hill, NYC location. Upsider Therapy, LCSW, PLLC specializes in child, adolescent, and young professional therapy. We are looking for someone who is professional, flexible, and motivated, and can provide top-quality service to clients. This is a fee-for-service position with competitive compensation.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, parenting, and (some) family psychotherapy in a private practice setting
• Work with highly motivated, consistent clients
• Begin by seeing clients 1-2 days/week with the intention to grow
• Manage own caseload including billing, scheduling, documentation, and diagnosing
• Contribute 1 blog per month for the Upsider Therapy, LCSW, PLLC website

Requirements:

• Must be a professionally Licensed Social Worker to practice in New York State as an LMSW or LCSW
• At least one year of post-graduation experience required
• Must be experienced in or be familiar with using ICD-10 codes for clinical diagnoses and CPT codes for insurance reimbursement
• Experience with children, teenagers, and young professionals
• Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
