Job summary

TeamHealth in Virginia is seeking a psychotherapist to deliver clinical assessments, diagnoses, and individual psychotherapy for older adults in post-acute care settings, with clinical autonomy and a flexible schedule. No nights or weekends, supported by a strong organizational team.

You will treat depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF in the Pulaski area, including Dublin and Galax, VA.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Virginia license as LPC or LMFT.
• Eligible for independent practice and billing.
• Open to all levels of experience as a psychotherapist.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

This role offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong organizational support in post-acute and long-term care settings (SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF).

Role Overview

• Full-time 3.5 days/week within Monday - Friday
• No nights or weekends
• Flexible, onsite, round-and-go model with remote documentation
• Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and individual psychotherapy
• Treat depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorder, grief and loss plus life transitions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
• Coverage area includes Dublin and Galax, VA

Compensation And Benefits

• Estimated compensation range of $40,000 - $60,000 annually with no cap on productivity income
• Base salary plus productivity, W2 position with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k)
• Back-end infrastructure and clinical support provided
