Job summary

TeamHealth in Virginia is seeking a licensed psychotherapist to provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and individual psychotherapy in post-acute and long-term care settings. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong organizational support.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings, treating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions, with no nights or weekends and a remote-friendly documentation workflow.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Virginia LPC or LMFT license.
• LCSW not considered at this time.
• Eligible for independent practice and billing.
• Open to all levels of experience.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

This role offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong organizational support in post-acute and long-term care settings (SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF).

Role Overview

• Full-time 3.5 days/week within Monday – Friday
• No nights or weekends
• Flexible, onsite, round-and-go model with remote documentation
• Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and individual psychotherapy
• Treat depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorder, grief and loss plus life transitions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
• Coverage area includes Dublin and Galax, VA

Compensation and Benefits

• Estimated compensation range of $40,000 – $60,000 annually with no cap on productivity income
• Base salary plus productivity, W2 position with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k)
• Back-end infrastructure and clinical support provided
