Job summary

MINDS MOVING FORWARD is seeking a passionate licensed therapist to join our collaborative California practice in Folsom. You will provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families, with support from a full admin team and modern office space.

You’ll work within a trauma-informed, neuro-informed care framework, receive regular supervision, and contribute to growth with referrals and team meetings. California-licensed AMFT/APCC/LMFT/LPCC required.

Qualifications

• Active California BBS registration (AMFT/APCC or LMFT/LPCC).
• 1+ year post-graduate experience with children 12 and younger.
• Strong commitment to evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy to clients.
• Collaborate with a team of therapists to enhance services.
• Grow clinical skills through supervision and caseload development.

What You'll Do:

• Empower Clients: Provide exceptional therapy services to individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate life’s challenges and achieve their personal goals.

What We're Looking For:

• Licensed Therapist: Holds Active registration with the California BBS as an AMFT, APCC or fully licensed as an LMFT or LPCC in the state of California
• Experience & Expertise: One or more years of post-graduate experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions across the lifespan, with solid training and hands-on experience working with children ages 12 and younger. A strong understanding of evidence-based practices specific to children ages 12 and younger is required .
• Professional Excellence: Brings an internally driven standard of excellence to clinical care, communication, documentation, and follow-through, regardless of oversight or external reinforcement.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Technology Knowledge: Has knowledge and ability to use Google Suite. Experience with TherapyNotes or JaneApp preferred.
