Job description

As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

As a Licensed Psychotherapist in Bingham Farms, MI, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. You will provide patients with behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations
  2. Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
  3. Provide mental health counseling services to individuals, families, and/or couples
  4. Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods

Flexible schedules include full-time, part-time, per diem, days, evenings, weekends, with potential for remote work or teletherapy as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  1. Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field
  2. Active, unrestricted license (LMSW, LPC, LMFT) in Michigan
