A leading healthcare provider is seeking a behavioral health liaison psychotherapist to join their team at the Froedtert West Bend Hospital. Schedule: 2pm to 10:30pm, working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (schedule may change in the future)
The behavioral health liaison (BHL) psychotherapist provides psychiatric assessment and evaluation for patients in medical settings and outpatient programs, including Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. The BHL psychotherapist develops and supports treatment plans using psychosocial and therapeutic interventions, conducts care coordination, and responds to consults with clinical recommendations. They complete documentation as per protocols and participate in clinical supervision. May travel between CHD sites as needed.
3,000 hours of postgraduate clinical supervision and care coordination for behavioral health patients.
Master's degree in social work, counseling, educational psychology, or allied health from an accredited institution, including clinic field placement/practicum.
Clinical training in psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluation, assessment, and treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT. Training in substance use disorder treatment is preferred.
Current Wisconsin licensure as LCSW or LPC. Other disciplines considered with DSPS pre-approval.
