Job summary

UltaCare Medical has an immediate opening for a full-time Psychotherapist to assess, diagnose and manage mental health conditions in post-acute and long-term care facilities.

The role allows independent scheduling within nursing facilities, with collaboration from nursing staff and a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care for residents facing anxiety, depression, dementia and life transitions.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted LCSW or LPC-MHSP license.
• Knowledge of standard documentation practices.
• Experience working with geriatric population preferred.
• Experience working in post-acute or healthcare setting preferred.

UltaCare Medical has an immediate opening for full time Psychotherapist - LPC-MMSP/LCSW Provider will provide assessment, diagnosis and management of mental health and psychiatric conditions. This role is focused on optimizing treatment to yield better response, reduced side effects, and improved quality of life.

Anxiety, depression, dementia, grief and loss and a variety of other mental health conditions are prominent challenges in nursing home populations and these residents deserve a mental health specialist that can help them deal with these challenges. As a psych with UltaCare Medical, you’ll have the opportunity to use your skills and expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these residents by optimizing their treatments. Our psych team often voice great professional satisfaction and can recite countless experiences where they dramatically helped others by both better treating the underlying condition but also improving quality of life.

Schedules are flexible and the Psych team will work independently inside of post-acute and long-term care nursing facilities. We require collaboration with nursing home staff, but ultimately you make your own schedule and have the autonomy to do what you are educated and trained to do.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Psychotherapy with people in skilled nursing, assisted living, and long term care settings.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of medical and psychiatric providers to optimize quality-of-life and support facility.
• Support patients with conditions including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, dementia, grief, loss, and life transitions.
• Timely, accurate documentation.

Financial Rewards and Benefits:

• Annual fulltime compensation ranges from $70,000 - $75,000 based on caseload. Unlimited earning potential.
