Job description

Community Residential Rehabilitation | Aldan, PA | Full-Time | $52,000+/year| Psychosocial Services

Lead a Team That Changes Lives

Are you ready to step into a leadership role where your work directly shapes recovery outcomes for the people who need it most? As our Behavioral Health Coordinator, you'll run the day-to-day operations of a community residential rehabilitation program — supervising a dedicated team, guiding clients toward recovery, and making sure every service delivered meets the highest standards of care.

This is more than a management job. It's a chance to build a program you're proud of, mentor staff who look to you for direction, and be the steady hand that keeps care moving forward — even in the toughest moments.

What You'll Do

Lead the Program

  • Own the day-to-day success of your psychosocial program, from staffing to service quality
  • Provide hands-on supervision and coaching to your team, individually and in groups
  • Step in with direct client services whenever the program needs you
  • Be the point person your staff can count on — including 24-hour availability for emergencies
  • Support fellow programs with backup supervision when needed

Champion Client Recovery

  • Ensure every service reflects recovery-oriented, culturally competent best practices
  • Connect clients and staff with the community resources that make recovery possible
  • Recognize when a client needs a higher level of care and make the call promptly

Keep the Program Running Strong

  • Manage staffing, documentation, billing, and re-authorizations with precision and speed
  • Partner with Accounting to resolve billing issues quickly
  • Keep spending on track and minimize unnecessary costs
  • Maintain equipment and facilities, flagging repairs or replacements early
  • Ensure full compliance with licensing standards, contracts, and agency policy
  • Partner with your supervisor to shape the program's annual plan
  • Track performance improvement indicators, census, and outcome data
  • Run regular staff meetings that turn insight into action
  • Report incidents promptly and transparently
  • Represent the agency professionally with payers, community partners, and at interagency meetings
  • Respond quickly and thoughtfully to client complaints or grievances
  • Handle HR-approved disciplinary actions in line with agency policy
What You Bring
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health discipline
  • Licensure/Certifications: None required
  • Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Clearance, and Fingerprint-based federal criminal history; valid Driver's License; not listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

Additional relevant experience and/or education may be considered in place of the above, at the Personnel Officer's discretion.
