Job summary

Axis for Autism is seeking full-time Psychometrists in our Mesa Diagnostics office to support Autism evaluations across Arizona. A sign-on bonus is possible for applicants with proven ADOS experience. Starting pay is $26/hr, with benefits including comprehensive medical/dental/vision and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, behavioral sciences, or similar field is required.
• At least two years of experience working with individuals with ASD is preferred.
• Experience working with kids is a plus.
• Knowledge of ADOS-2 is preferred.
• Strong observational skills and ability to record observations in writing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
• Adept at multitasking.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion.
• Bilingual Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of clinical and support roles under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
• Interacts directly with children, adults, their families, and caregivers.
• Administers and scores standardized testing.
• Supports the diagnostic process for Autism through testing and assessment.
• Participates in a rigorous and supervised training program provided for the position.
