Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Frisco, TX seeks a Psychometrist to support the Day Neuro Program with neuropsychological assessments and staff training. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate patients with brain injuries and help them return to work, school, driving and independence.

Responsibilities include scheduling, conducting assessments with confidentiality, recording observations, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Experience administering psychological and neuropsychological tests preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn and teach neuropsychological measures, observe confidentiality and standardization.
• Certified BLS completion required; for new hires

• Conduct neuropsychological assessments with attention to confidentiality.
• Record behavior observations in detail.
• Submit billing information to psychologist and maintain accurate and timely records of all assessments.

• Become competent in and provide training to other staff in the administration of new neuropsychological measures.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Responsibilities

The Day Neuro Program at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation (BSWIR) Frisco campus has an immediate opening for a Psychometrist to work with the clinic's Neuropsychology staff. Patient populations include a diverse mix of patients with acquired brain injury (CVA, TBI, non-traumatic brain injuries, etc.) that attend the Day Neuro Program for comprehensive neurorehabilitation services. Goals of the program include returning to work, school, driving, and other aspects of independence
