Job summary

State of North Carolina’s Caswell Developmental Center seeks a Psychological Program Director I (NS) to manage the Psychology Department, supervising staff and guiding behavioral assessments and treatment programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and regulatory compliance.

The position offers a wage range: $92,184–$152,104, with a sign-on bonus considered for eligible permanent hires and full-time

Qualifications

• Licensure eligibility under NC Psychology Practice Act and three years of post-doctoral experience.
• Experience coordinating/supervising a psychological services program.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to Staff Psychologists per NC Psychology Practice Act.
• Oversee psychological testing and evaluations.
• Develop and deliver behavioral assessment and treatment programs.
• Provide consultative services to treatment teams and collaborate with other clinicians.
• Lead center-level administrative functions, policy making, and applied research related to ID/DD and Medicaid compliance.
