Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking Clinical Psychology Fellows to spend 1-2 years receiving specialized training in clinical psychology. Fellows will carry a client caseload including individual therapy, care coordination, and progress notes; develop, plan, and facilitate group therapy; and develop and implement a program evaluation project.

Rotations will be based at MMHC and in Outpatient Psychiatry at BIDMC.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology is required.
  • Completion of an APA accredited psychology internship program is required.
  • Experience with computer systems including web-based applications, Microsoft Office, and statistical/data capture programs.

Job description

Clinical Psychology Fellows will spend 1-2 years receiving specialized training in clinical psychology. They are expected to carry a client caseload which includes the provision of individual therapy, care coordination, and entering progress notes; develop, plan, and facilitate group therapy; develop and implement a program evaluation project. Rotations will be based at various sites affiliated with the Massachusetts Mental Health Center (MMHC) and in Outpatient Psychiatry at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). Clinical Psychology Fellows will also be expected to provide supervision to clinical psychology practicum students. Fellows will attend didactic offerings including grand rounds at MMHC and BIDMC. They will receive two hours of supervision per week, one of which will be from a licensed clinician at their assigned rotation. They will have some time (approximately 1 day/week) to engage in independent research or teaching that is related to their clinical service. They will receive annual progress evaluations.

Pay Range: $62,234.00 USD – $90,002.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
