Position Overview
The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for a full-time Psychology Lecturer in the areas of Neuroscience/Biopsychology or any related areas, beginning Fall 2025. This is a non-tenure track appointment. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching and to participate in continued development of the UNT-Dallas Psychology Department, which offers a B.A. degree in Psychology and a B.S degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Neuroscience.
We are particularly interested in student-centric, innovative, and energetic candidates who can help lead the development of UNTD's Psychology Department through program development and student research opportunities. We seek a Psychology specialist who can contribute to the Psychology program by teaching courses specific to neuroscience, research methods, and/or statistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Expectations for Lecturers at UNTD include excellent teaching and service, resulting in contributions equivalent to a four-course load each semester. This workload expectation can be fulfilled through a combination of teaching and service. Faculty service opportunities may include activities such as curriculum development, student research mentorship, and university committee service.
