Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking a Psychology Intern to join our clinical team in Michigan. You will perform assessments, provide counseling, and refer and advocate for patients under supervision, supporting the mission to deliver high-quality mental health care.

Qualifications

• Must have degree from APA-accredited program and hold or be eligible for psychology licensure in Michigan.
• Must be in good standing and commit to ongoing education in credentialing policies.

Responsibilities

• Participates in interviewing patients and assessing through mental status testing and reviewing records.
• Selects appropriate therapies or treatments and collaborates with treatment team.
• Collaborates with team on patient progress and treatment planning.
• Ensures accurate documentation and timely notes in medical records.
• Attends departmental meetings and participates in committees as able.
• Maintains licensure requirements and pursues ongoing professional development.
• Provides education to patients, families, or community groups.
• May conduct research and provide consultations beyond Pine Rest.
