Job Summary/Basic Function

The Department of Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position (#120490) at the rank of assistant or associate professor in industrial-organizational psychology. The start date for the position is August 1, 2027.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate I-O courses, including courses that contribute to the department's broader teaching needs (e.g., general psychology, basic statistics, social psychology, or research methods), supervise student research and theses, and develop a research program. Areas of I-O specialization are open. We have the #1nationally ranked M.A. program in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and a strong undergraduate major in I-O psychology. Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to support the MTSU Center for Organizational and Human Resource Effectiveness.

Required Education

A terminal degree in industrial-organizational psychology or a closely related field with at least eighteen (18) graduate hours in psychology is required by the appointment date.
