Job summary

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges is seeking instructors to teach Psychology across campus locations, with online and evening opportunities. In-person classes Monday–Friday, with morning/afternoon availability.

The role requires commitment to excellence in teaching and service and alignment with the college’s mission and values. The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Psychology (or related with required psychology hours) and have experience in teaching at the community college level.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology or Master’s with 12 graduate hours; 6 hours must be in Psychology or Counseling.
• Community College teaching or training experience is preferred.
• Ability to teach in online and/or hybrid environments is desired.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Psychology aligned with established outcomes.
• Collaborate on curriculum development and revision as needed.
• Meet scheduled classes and maintain office hours.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Serve as a student academic advisor and assist in advising.
• Develop assessments to validate student outcomes and track attendance.
